While seasonal influenza (flu) viruses are detected year-round in the United States, flu viruses typically circulate during the fall and winter during what's known as the respiratory season. The My Healthy Community Influenza Dashboard has paused the release of data now that the respiratory season has ended, from May 18, 2024 through October 10, 2024. Providers should still maintain case reporting through this time.
